The church is located on Whitefield Main Road, On the opposite side of Whitefield police station, 150 metres away.
Our Lady of Lourdes Church was first constructed in the year 1894. In the beginning, Our Lady of Lourdes Church was a sub-station to the St. Anthony's Shrine of Thambuchetty Palya. The church was declared as an independent parish in 1936.
