Chettikkad St.Antony's Shrine known as "PADUA OF EAST" with three sacred relics of St.Antony including tongue of the Saint, is one of the most prominent pilgrim centre of Christians in central Kerala also for the visitors around the globe.
Shrine is situated near to Kochi and Kodungallur which is part of historic Musiris.
Maliankara, known as 'Cradle of Kerala Christians', is near to the shrine.
A 'miracle well' is prominent attraction in the shrine. According to the natives, being a coastal region this is the only well with clear and pure water in the area while all other wells are affected with seawater.
Lot of global travelers and pilgrims are visiting the shrine to embrace the holiness of the land.
വിശുദ്ധ അന്തോണീസിന്റെ മൂന്ന് വിശുദ്ധ തിരുശേഷിപ്പുകളുള്ള "പാദുവ ഓഫ് ഈസ്റ്റ്" എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ചെട്ടിക്കാട് സെന്റ് ആന്റണീസ് ദേവാലയം, ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള സന്ദർശകർക്കായി മധ്യകേരളത്തിലെ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികളുടെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട തീർത്ഥാടന കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലൊന്നാണ്.

St.Antony's Shrine has a history starting from June 13 1954,the old church was blessed.
In 1973,Novena of St.Antony was introduced.
In January 7 1975 first relic of Saint was erected.
Novena was officially started and recognised in 1977.
Attained pilgrim centre and shrine status on April 22nd 1983.
New church blessed on 1987 October 20th.
2nd and 3rd relics of Saint erected on June 13th 1995 and June 13th 1998 respectively.
Silver jubilee of Novena was celebrated in the year 1998.
