The CSI St.Paul's Church is situated in the heart of Shornur town situated in the banks of Bharathapuzha river.
It is the headquarter of Shornur block and is located 49 kms west of district headquarters of Palakkad.

CSI St. Paul's church has a long history dated back to 1960.
The foundation stone was laid on 13th January 1959, by RT.Rev.Richard Lipp, then Bishop of CSI North Kerala Diocese.
The church was dedicated by RT. Rev.T.B.Benjamin Bishop on 26-5-1960.
Renovated church was rededicated by Rt. Rev. Dr.P.G.Kuruvilla Bishop on 17th September 1993.
The church is now the part of CSI Cochin Diocese.
