The church is located near Mannuthy Junction on the sides of NH-47. The church is around 5 Km Distant from Thrissur Railway Station. It is located in the eastern side of Thrissur Corporation.

In year 1931, a Chapel in the name of Holy Mary, was built, and in year 1959 the chapel was upgraded as St. Antony's Church.

In year 1999, 34 families of northern end of the church became part of St. Mary's Church, Chirakkakode.

Year 2007, 347 Parish families of Eastern end of Mannuthy Church were premitted to pray, adore and attend sacraments at Mullakkara Infant Jesus Church.

History

Various events associated with St.Antony's Church, Mannuthy are listed below:
(1959 to 2022)
Year 1931 - Built Holy Mary's Chapel.

Year 1959 - Upgraded Holy Mary's Chapel as St. Antony's Church.

Year 1959 - Bishop Mar George Alappat blessed and declared St. Antony's Church, Mannuthy as independent Parish.

Year 1980 - Renovated the chapel to facilitate more conveniences for prayers and sacraments.

Year 1984 - Constructed Parish Hall as memorial of Silver Jubilee of the Church.

Year 1995 - Constructed new church and the church was blessed by Arch Bishop Mar Joseph Kundukulam.

Year 2005 - Completed Construction of Church Parish Hall.

Year 2005 - Decided to celebrate St. Antony's Oottuthirunal on June 13th in every year.

Year 2016 - Renovated the cemetery.

Year 2017 - Renovation of the church and blessing by Arch Assistant Bishop Mar Raphael Thattil.
