The church is also known as Puthen Palli.
The church is located in the heart of Thrissur Town. It is 200 meter distant from the Thrissur Corporation Office and 1 KM from Thrissur raiway station.
The church is one of most majestic churches in India with a beautiful facade, and large and decorated church hall.
The tower in backside of the church (known as Bible Tower) is the highest tower in Thrissur Town, and probably may be the heighest church tower in Kerala.
